Boho Chic

Hello again! This is Megan, from Diary of this Girl. I am guest blogging for Endless Knot, one of my favorite Seattle boutiques!

While I am not ready to say goodbye to summer (it is my favorite season!), fall fashion is intriguing. I enjoy trying new styles and trends, and any excuse to wear a dress with ankle boots is a win in my book. Today, I am experimenting with a fun (and easy to wear) trend for fall 2017: American Folk meets Bohemian Chic. Think floral prints, flared jeans, bold textures and fabrics, and eclectic layers.

I had the pleasure of borrowing this midi-length dress from Endless Knot. I love the delicate floral print! While I do not have much brown in my closet, this dress was surprisingly easy to style. The neutral color and subtle print make it easy to pair with a variety of shoes and accessories. I may need to add a few brown pieces to my wardrobe come fall.

Looking to add edge or a fun flair to your outfit? A denim or leather vest has quickly become one of my favorite layering pieces. It pairs with just about any dress (or blouse and skirt combination) in your closet.

Do not forget your accessories! Fringe, tassels, and vibrant details (such as studs, patches, and embroidery) are a fall favorite. A chic bag can instantly add glam to an otherwise neutral outfit. Scarves, bangles, and belts are another great way to accessorize.

When choosing accessories for this look, I chose to keep my jewelry fairly minimal. A necklace and delicate rings offset the bold vest and longer dress. My beige mules have been on major repeat as of late, and I love the brightness they add to this outfit.

Thank you again for allowing me to guest post, Endless Knot! You will be seeing me soon, as you have several items in store that are on my wish list for fall!

xoxo,

Megan
