Endless Knot is a contemporary women’s boutique offering a unique and diverse assortment of clothing, accessories, and handmade jewelry in Seattle’s downtown neighborhood of Belltown.

Owner Anne Gavzer began her journey in the fashion industry over 30 years ago. As a traveler, wandering about S.E. Asia, she was drawn to the possibilities of a life filled with journeys around the world, spectacular handcrafted textiles and a DIY style business.

For over 25 years Anne designed and wholesaled her own clothing line, Endless Knot Art, handmade in Bali, Indonesia and Hanoi, Vietnam. It was widely available in specialty boutiques throughout the United States.

In 1996, upon moving from New York City to Seattle, Anne found a wonderful new location in a funky old building. It was right in the middle of the Belltown neighborhood, home to all manner of artists and creative types. The space was perfect for her wholesale company and it just so happened to have a storefront attached. Never shy to jump into a challenge for which she was completely unprepared, Anne decided to open a retail boutique. After all, though she had no background in business or fashion design, she nevertheless had a successful clothing line driven largely by her quirky talent at print design. A boutique seemed like a fun new challenge. In April of 1997 Endless Knot opened its doors as a prime retail location offering the Endless Knot Art brand, as well as a complimentary assortment of women’s clothing, accessories, and gifts.

Over the years, Anne and the Endless Knot team strove to remain current and responsive to the constant changes within the fashion industry. As the industry changed, so too had the edgy and inexpensive Belltown neighborhood. It was growing and transforming, as was the clientele. These changes inspired a new direction and new product lines for the Endless Knot boutique. With a growing desire to focus on her expanding retail presence, Anne discontinued
Endless Knot Art in 2009.

Anne turned her attention to creating a well curated diverse product offering. Collections such as Prairie Underground, Weston Wear, and Salaam, all made in America by women owned businesses, took center stage. Hand crafted jewelry from Rebel, Sarah Cavender and others, along with a wide variety of sumptuous scarves, cozy knitwear, perfect vegan purses and much more fill our forged iron, carved wood and brick interior.
These lines and others have filled the racks and dressed customers of all ages and sizes over the last decade.

What continues to set Endless Knot apart in the boutique industry is our dedication to offer wearable, comfortable and stylish clothing to women of all ages. We are influenced by fashion trends, but we don’t follow them. Our eclectic mix is determined by what we are excited to share with our customers. It may be some unusual interpretation of a trend, or a perfect classic style in a wonderful new fabrication. It could be a dress from a fair trade company whose mission we support. And we absolutely love when something exquisite is also local or organic.

The Endless Knot team is passionate about customer service. Nothing pleases us more than to assure you a positive experience when visiting our shop. We will never sell you something that you don’t absolutely love, and we will always give honest feedback when asked. Our warm and welcoming environment supports trusting relationships with our customers. We know that each person who enters the store has unique needs. Whether that’s a new dress for a dinner party or a friend to confide in after a long day at work, the Endless Knot team strives to cater to those needs in the friendliest way possible. You will find that whether a purchase is made or not, our goal is that you had a great time with us.

Thank you for your support of women owned and operated local small business.
